A Notice from the Dean

Dear current and prospective students:

Please be advised that the Muhlenberg Snyder Schools are not closing.
JFK Medical Center will own and operate the School.

On Friday, February 22nd, The Solaris Board of Directors was forced to immediately authorize the filing of a Certificate of Need applications to close the hospital.

All Educational programs will continue as normal. Applications are being accepted for all programs.

All Muhlenberg programs require a pre-admission entrance test, either the Nurse Entrance Test (NET) or the Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET). Upon receipt of an application, the School will assign a test date to the applicant. This date will be included with the applicant's follow-up letter. For information concerning Registration, Enrollment and the Schools’ Calendar, please refer to the Schedule of Events link (right side of page) for your respective program. OPEN HOUSE Muhlenberg Snyder Schools Wednesday, April 30, 2008 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM PROGRAM: Credit Evaluations will run continuously from 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM. BRING TRANSCRIPTS (unofficial are fine) for a preliminary credit evaluation of your transfer credits. Financial aid presentations will be made on the hour. General information/question and answer sessions will run continuously from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM. This provides an opportunity to talk with faculty and students about the various Muhlenberg programs. Specific program presentations: Radiography - 4:30 PM Generic Nursing - 5:00 PM Radiation Therapy - 5:00 PM Accelerated Nursing - 5:30 PM LPN-to-RN - 5:30 PM Diagnostic Medical Sonography - 5:30 PM Nuclear Medicine Technology - 6:00 PM Nursing Arts and Computer labs will be open for visitations. Tours of the building, including residences, will be available.
