bandage scissors, and consumable supplies and equipment which are required
for the course instruction.
Students may purchase meals at the Medical Center or college cafeterias.
The Schools of Nursing, Medical Imaging & Therapeutic Sciences require
all students enrolled in any clinical course to be covered by malpractice
liability insurance. The student is responsible for obtaining this coverage.
The School does not endorse any insurance company. Students will be required
to submit a form verifying such insurance coverage at the beginning of
each clinical course.
The State requires all full-time students to be covered by health insurance.
If evidence of health insurance is not provided, full-time students will
be covered by insurance at Union County College and the School will assess
a fee to cover the expense of the insurance. Part-time students who are
carrying at least six (6) credits may purchase the insurance at Union
County College if they request it in writing no later than thirty (30)
days into the semester.
