To receive financial aid, a student must:

Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident.
Be in need, as determined through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Not be in default on a Federal Perkins Loan or National Direct Student Loan, Federal Stafford Loan; Federal PLUS/SLS Loan or Federal Unsubsidized Loan.
Not owe a refund on a Federal Pell Grant or Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunities Grant.
Be making satisfactory academic progress according to the Schools’ academic policies.(if a continuing student)

Before receiving financial assistance, the student must meet the above requirements, as well as those requirements which are unique to each program.
