Pursuant to the 1998 Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act, students receiving Federal Title IV financial aid will have funds returned to the financial aid programs if they withdraw from all courses prior to the completion of 61 percent of the semester. This return may result in balances owed to Muhlenberg Harold B. & Dorothy A. Snyder Schools and/or the United States Department of Education.

Financial Aid returns are calculated based
on the following schedule:

 Withdrawl before the start of the semester
100%
 Withdrawl prior to and including 10% completion of semester
90%
 Withdrawl between 11% and 20% completion
80%
 Withdrawl between 21% and 30% completion
70%
 Withdrawl between 31% and 40% completion
60%
 Withdrawl between 41% and 50% completion
50%
 Withdrawl between 51% and 60% completion
40%
 Withdrawl after 61% completion of semester
0%


This return is then allocated to financial aid programs in the following order:
Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans
Subsidized Federal Stafford Loans
Federal PLUS Loans
Pell
SEOG
Other Title IV Program
