The Kenneth Campbell MacKay Library on the Cranford Campus is the major
learning resource of the college. Libraries at the Elizabeth and Plainfield
Campuses serve as the major learning resources on those branch campuses.
They provide extensive holdings and services for all students and carry
out the College’s long tradition for placing great emphasis on library
use by students and faculty.
The library holdings total more than 119,000 volumes and periodicals and
rank Union County College among the top ten percent of America’s community
colleges. The holdings strongly support the curricula of each campus and
also provide users with leisure reading materials.
Professional librarians provide reference assistance and instruction in
research techniques. |
