ACADEMIC PROBATION
A pre-clinical student who fails to achieve a cumulative
grade point average of 2.0 at the close of any semester
will be placed on probation. During the one-semester probationary
period the student must achieve a 2.0 grade point average
in all courses.
At the conclusion of the one-semester probationary period,
when the student’s academic progress is again reviewed,
the probationary status is automatically terminated if the
student has achieved a grade point average of 2.0.
Clinical students who do not attain a minimum of a C+ in
each nuclear medicine course will also be placed on a one-semester
probation, regardless of the cumulative grade point average.
Probation will terminate at the end of the following semester
if a grade of C+ is achieved in each nuclear medicine course.
CONTINUED PROBATION
Any pre-clinical student who fails to obtain a grade point
average of 2.0 or higher at the end of the initial probationary
period, will be placed on continued probation. The student
on continued probation must achieve a grade point average
of 2.0 in each course at the conclusion of the next semester.
If the student meets the above requirements, probation is
automatically terminated.
