GENERAL POLICIES

Candidates must submit a completed admissions application; transcripts from high school or proof of GED, all colleges attended, and hospital-based radiography programs if applicable 3 letters of recommendation,18 signed Consumer Information form, and evidence of successful completion of prerequisite courses with the office of the Program Director of the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Applicants must complete the Pre-Clinical Component (Prerequisites) prior to matriculation in the Clinical Component of the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program. Applicants may be given a conditional acceptance if they are in the process of completing the prerequisites at the time of application. Acceptance would be made final only when course grades of C or better are submitted to the Program.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Please contact the School of Nuclear Medicine Technology for the application deadline for the Clinical Component. Students may be admitted to the Pre-Clinical Component at the beginning of any semester.

PRE-CLINICAL COMPONENT (Pre-requisites)
Admission to the Pre-Clinical Component is permitted for any semester. Application is made directly to the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School of Nuclear Medicine Technology through a joint admissions policy with Union County College. Therefore, it is not necessary to apply separately to Union County College.
Students have the option of completing the Pre-Clinical Component at another accredited college or radiography program.

CLINICAL COMPONENT (Pre-requisites)
The Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School of Nuclear Medicine Technology selects students for the Clinical Component of the program based on their academic performance in the Pre-Clinical segment (prerequisites); their overall grade point average; recommendations from employers, educators, and/or volunteer supervisors; and written communication skills.
Acceptance into and successful completion of the Pre-Clinical Component through Union County College does not guarantee the student admissions to the Clinical Component. Students compete on an equal basis with applicants who completed their pre-requisites at other institutions.

APPLICANTS WITH TRANSCRIPTS FROM
SCHOOLS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES

Applicants with transcripts from schools outside the US must first have the transcript translated and evaluated. Contact one of the evaluation agencies listed below. Allow ample time for processing. The Schools of Nursing, Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences is not affiliated with either of these agencies.
Applicants are required to obtain a course-by-course evaluation of their high school education and any college course work.
