About our Registered Nursing Program:

Muhlenberg School of Nursing (SON) was established in 1894
Cooperative program with Union County College was established in 1971
Currently 415 students enrolled in SON - part time and full time


85% of 2006 graduates passed the NCLEX (registered nurse certifying exam) administered by the State of New Jersey (and nationally as well)
100% of graduates are employed in nursing


Graduates earn a Diploma in Nursing from Muhlenberg and an Associate in Science Degree from Union County College
Full articulation with Kean University and Wagner College
Credit transfers to other BSN programs
3 tracks, all leading to registered nurse licensure, are offered: Generic, Accelerated and LPN to RN Transition
