CLINICAL GRADING

The grading policy for clinical competency is based on a pass/fail system. The grades received from the Rotation Performance Evaluation, the Procedure Performance Evaluation, case studies and journals are averaged together. To pass the clinical component of the program, the student must receive an averaged grade of 76% or higher, have 100% proficiency on all required clinical competencies for each of the three semesters and have successfully completed the Program Faculty Evaluations.

Students who fail to receive an averaged clinical grade of 76% or higher will be placed on clinical probation and may be subject to dismissal.
