The Audio-Visual and Computer Learning Center houses individual stations
for the viewing of audio-visual filmstrips, five personal computers for
use in computer-assisted instruction (CAI), and a portable TV/VCR for video
viewing. The Learning Center’s collection is currently comprised of
more than 276 software holdings, including audiovisual software, audiocassettes
and 16 mm films.
The School has received three interactive disc players through a grant from
the Helene Fuld Trust. Disc programs are available for student use.
All classrooms are equipped with wall-mounted VCRs and monitors. Portable
VCRs and monitors are also available for small and large conferences.
In addition, Centennial Hall has a multitude of audio-visual capabilities.
It is located adjacent to the North Wing of the medical center and provides
a lecture hall which can seat 250 persons. |
