Making a career choice is one of the most important decisions
an individual can make in his/her lifetime. Faculty and administration
at the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School of Radiography
recognize this and have developed a program whereby an interested
candidate may spend a morning observing in the Medical Center’s
Department of Radiology.
The observer is assigned to a student or graduate radiographer
from 8:30AM to 11:30AM on Monday or Wednesday during the fall
and/or spring semesters and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or
Thursday during the two summer sessions. (Holidays are excluded).
The observer is rotated throughout the department so that
he/she may get an overall impression of the practice of radiography.
The program provides the candidate with the opportunity to
ask questions of the student currently enrolled in the School
and of graduates employed in the Department of Radiology.
Candidates must have an appointment in order to participate
in the observation program. Appointments may be made by calling
the Admission’s Office at 908-668-2844.
