GENERAL ADMISSION POLICY
Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School of Radiography
seeks to admit candidates who are best qualified to meet
the academic requirements of the Amplified Radiography Program,
and who, by reason of academic potential, purpose and maturity
show promise of successfully completing the program. Candidates
must file completed admissions application, all high school,
technical school and/or college transcripts and three (3)
letters of reference with the office of the Educational
Director of the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center Schools
of Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences. A non-refundable
application fee must be submitted with the application.
Applications for admission are processed upon receipt on
a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to apply early
and are notified of any application deficiencies. Applicants
may apply for either the fall or spring semester, but it
must be understood that the radiography or professional
component of the program only begins in the fall. Spring
semester applicants accepted into the program will be registered
for general education courses at Union County College. Up
to 35 candidates and ten alternates will be chosen for admission
into the professional component of the program. Once accepted
into the program students must submit a non-refundable acceptance
fee with a letter of intent. (Directions for this process
are included in the acceptance letter with deadlines for
submission of the fee and letter.)
Those students accepted by the School of Radiography need
not make a separate application to Union County College
at this time. Through a joint admission policy with Union
County College, Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School
of Radiography applicants are also accepted for admission
to the College.
APPLICANTS WITH TRANSCRIPTS
FROM
SCHOOLS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES
Applicants with educational credentials from schools outside
the United States must first have their transcripts translated
and evaluated. Contact one of the evaluation agencies listed
below for international transcript evaluations.
Allow ample time for processing by the deadline for the
semester for which you are applying. The School of Radiography
is not affiliated with any of these agencies.
If you would like to transfer credit for specific courses
that you have completed, this evaluation must be done on
a course-by-course basis. (This includes high school
transcripts.)
