GENERAL ADMISSION POLICY
Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School of Radiography seeks to admit candidates who are best qualified to meet the academic requirements of the Amplified Radiography Program, and who, by reason of academic potential, purpose and maturity show promise of successfully completing the program. Candidates must file completed admissions application, all high school, technical school and/or college transcripts and three (3) letters of reference with the office of the Educational Director of the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center Schools of Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences. A non-refundable application fee must be submitted with the application.

Applications for admission are processed upon receipt on a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to apply early and are notified of any application deficiencies. Applicants may apply for either the fall or spring semester, but it must be understood that the radiography or professional component of the program only begins in the fall. Spring semester applicants accepted into the program will be registered for general education courses at Union County College. Up to 35 candidates and ten alternates will be chosen for admission into the professional component of the program. Once accepted into the program students must submit a non-refundable acceptance fee with a letter of intent. (Directions for this process are included in the acceptance letter with deadlines for submission of the fee and letter.)

Those students accepted by the School of Radiography need not make a separate application to Union County College at this time. Through a joint admission policy with Union County College, Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center School of Radiography applicants are also accepted for admission to the College.

APPLICANTS WITH TRANSCRIPTS FROM
SCHOOLS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES

Applicants with educational credentials from schools outside the United States must first have their transcripts translated and evaluated. Contact one of the evaluation agencies listed below for international transcript evaluations.

Allow ample time for processing by the deadline for the semester for which you are applying. The School of Radiography is not affiliated with any of these agencies.

If you would like to transfer credit for specific courses that you have completed, this evaluation must be done on a course-by-course basis. (This includes high school transcripts.)
