The program will enroll qualified students who will benefit from the
course of study and graduate within the prescribed time frame providing
the community with graduates who have demonstrated successful achievement
in academics, credentialing, and clinical competency. |

Prepare students by offering the necessary resources and a
comprehensive curriculum that provides students with the opportunity to
develop and achieve their educational goals and competencies in
radiography; and to develop and apply professional ethics and practices
of a healthcare provider. |

Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology, positioning and exposure
factors to accurately demonstrate anatomical structures. |

Set appropriate radiographic techniques to assure minimum radiation
exposure to the patient and the production of quality diagnostic radiographs. |

Evaluate radiographs for positioning and technique. |
| • |
Practice the principles or radiation protection. |
| • |
Provide the patient with quality care to insure comfort, safety
and diagnostic radiographic results. |

Initiate life saving first aid and/or basic life support procedures
if the need arises. |

Determine proper and safe radiographic equipment function and report
problems to a superior. |

Participate in radiographic quality assurance programs. |
