Students who live out of Union County may be reimbursed out-of-county rates by their county of residence. This is called charge-back assistance.

New Jersey residents who do not live in Union County, and who plan to attend Union County College, will be charged out-of-county rates until completed forms are received by the Schools.

Upon receipt of the charge-back form, the Schools will adjust the student’s account according to Union County rates. If the student’s county of residence has designated a charge-back rate lower than that generally accepted by community colleges, the student will be charged the determined difference.
